26Alm(p,g)27Si
Laird et al. 2022
A re-evaluation of the 26Alm(p,g)27Si reaction rate based on updated nuclear data. This reaction is for the isomeric state of 26Al (26Alm). Nevertheless, some caution is required in the usage of this reaction rate, as currently very little resonance and level information is available. In this study, the rate has been recalculated only using known level information, hence resulting in a lower limit. Therefore, while the 26Alm(p,g)27SI reaction rate is available here and considering how it is smaller than that for the ground state by an order of magnitude or more at T9≤0.3 GK (implying that destruction via the isomer is not significant in most stellar sites), the authors recommend just using the ground-state rate when performing stellar nucleosynthesis calculations.
