25Mg(p,g)26Alg
Laird et al. 2022 and Battino et al. 2024
A re-evaluation of the 25Mg(p,g)26Alg reaction rate based on updated nuclear data, including experimental underground data from LUNA. The rates provided are a merge of the results of Laird et al. 2022 for temperatures 0.01 < T/GK < 0.7 and of Battino et al. 2024 for 0.7 < T/GK < 10. The rates of the reactions producing 26Al in the ground state (26Alg) and the total rate are both provided.

Updated thermonuclear 25Mg(p,γ)26Alg reaction rates implementing the results of a complete experimental investigation of the Ec.m.= 92, 130, and 189 keV resonances with the Jinping Underground Nuclear Astrophysics (JUNA) Experimental Facility. This reaction produces 26Al in the ground state (26Alg). The authors also provided the total rate (available for download below), including the contribution of both channels producing the ground and isomer state of 26Al.
